You’re Going to a Collector Car Show?

Make Your Experience Pay Off Using These “Classic” Techniques:

·         Choose the right show.  Attend a show with a theme or a purpose that creates interest.

·         First impressions count.  Your booth (table) should look professional and attract interest with your logo prominently displayed.  Use colorful banners, photos or posters.  Wear apparel with your logo (or American Collectors Insurance logo).

·         Be visible.  Negotiate a corner spot near the entrance or near concessions where traffic is highest.

·         Be a focal point.  Park a collector vehicle next to your booth with a sign that says “Ask me about Agreed Value Coverage with American Collectors Insurance.” 

·         Invite them to stay.  Providing seating.

·         Be knowledgeable. Distribute brochures explaining our program.  There’s room on the back for your business card. 

·         Be focused.  Representing too many products or markets can be confusing.  When attending a car show, talk Agreed Value coverage through American Collectors.  Once you have your foot in the door, you can talk about the other lines of business after the fact. 

·         Circulate the show.  Pass out information and give-a-ways.

·         Show interest.  Collectors are passionate.
