Join American Collectors Insurance in the fight against pediatric brain tumors!

Dear Friends:

As some of you know, American Collectors Insurance is an enthusiastic supporter of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Last year, with help from many of you, our “Team Tyler” was Philadelphia’s top fund raising club (see http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/calendar/2007/philadelphia07.html).

Pediatric Brain Tumors are the deadliest from of childhood cancer. However, thanks to research funded by the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, progress is being made. This past April, my husband Neil attended an annual meeting of the amazing people who are working to find a cure for this terrible disease. We are greatly encouraged by the work being done and remain committed to supporting the community of Neuro-oncologists, Neurosurgeons and Research Scientists who are on the front lines doing this much needed work.

Of course one of the keys to cutting-edge research is funding. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the world's largest non-governmental source of funding for childhood brain tumor research, and needs our strong & continued support. Here are some ways you can help:

1. Go to www.firstgiving.org/americancollectors and make a secure online donation.

2. Send a check payable to the "Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation" to:

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation/Team Tyler
c/o American Collectors Insurance
P.O. Box 8343, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002-0343

Or directly to:

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
302 Ridgefield Ct.
Ashville, NC 28806

3. Participate in the upcoming “Philadelphia Ride for Kids” motorcycle ride.

This event will be held rain or shine on Sunday, September 21, 2008, beginning at the Imax Theater parking lot at the King of Prussia Mall. This is a police-escorted ride through the scenic countryside of the Brandywine Valley and starts at 9:30 AM, ending by lunchtime at Longwood Gardens. Enjoy a light lunch and a Celebration of Life program after the ride. The minimum donation to ride is $35.00; however, your name will be entered into a drawing for a new Honda motorcycle for every $300.00 you raise.

If you don’t ride, consider volunteering! American Collectors is hosting a training session for Philadelphia-area volunteers on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7:00 pm in Cherry Hill, NJ.

For more information on the Ride For Kids and/or to locate a Ride in your area, please go to www.rideforkids.org or call 800-253-6530.

Thank you so much for your support!

Warm regards,

Jill K. Bookman, CEO
