CHERRY HILL, N.J. (May 5, 2008) – American Collectors Insurance, the leading provider of insurance for collector vehicles and collectibles, has named three new vice presidents as part of a reorganization to keep pace with its business expansion:

· Laura Bergan was named vice president of marketing,

· Debra Maher was named vice president of underwriting and policy service, and

· Melissa Romagnoli was named vice president of operations.

“These proven leaders form a talented, hands-on operations management team that will help drive the next phase of growth for American Collectors,” stated Jill Bookman, CEO, noting that a company-wide restructuring of American Collectors also includes expanded call-center capabilities, streamlined new-business processes, and a broadened online distribution channel.

Bergan, a seven-year veteran of American Collectors, leads marketing for the firm. She is responsible for developing and building business relationships with insurance agents, insurance carriers, and customers. Her marketing team handles publicity, advertising, media relations, and sales promotion activities. A licensed insurance producer, Bergan began her American Collectors career in underwriting and customer service.

Bergan attended The College of New Jersey. She is active with professional groups including automotive industry organization SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association), and is the incoming chair-elect of its ARMO (Automotive Restoration Market Organization) select committee. The SEMA Young Executives Network recently named Bergan its “Member of the Month.”

Maher, who joined American Collectors in February 2008, leads underwriting and call center management. The company’s new-business and client-contact departments report to her, along with claims and compliance.

Prior to joining American Collectors, Maher was at AIG in vice president-level positions in business processes, quality assurance, marketing and underwriting. Maher, whose 30 years of insurance industry experience also includes positions at Reliance Insurance and Zurich Insurance. She attended Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Romagnoli, a 12-year veteran of American Collectors, leads American Collectors’ technology and operations activities. She is responsible for operational effectiveness through research and development of new processes to reduce labor costs and turnaround times; finding and implementing best practices; and improving overall customer and agent experience. Her staff manages the company’s network, telecom, software, hardware, and vendor relationships.

Romagnoli began her American Collectors career as assistant supervisor in the mailroom. She progressed through positions of increasing responsibility and most recently was manager of operations. Romagnoli is active with professional and technology groups, including the National Association of Professional Women, International Customer Management Institute, and the Enterprise Content Management Association. She sits on the PAETEC Customer Advisory Board.
