Restoring a collector vehicle is a labor of love, so it shouldn’t leave a customer heartbroken when it comes to insurance coverage. At American Collectors Insurance, we insure vehicles undergoing active restoration, even if the car isn’t registered or drivable yet.

We do have a few guidelines to follow. The vehicle and/or its components must have some intrinsic value before we can insure it. Also, we require that the restoration take place on the insured’s premises. However, temporary restoration off the premises is acceptable during the overall process.
