American Collectors Insurance

January 2012 | Issue #1

Dear Agent Partner:

You might own or be employed by a relatively new insurance agency, but chances are that your agency - like American Collectors Insurance - has been around for at least a few decades.

As a leader in our little corner of the collector universe, we know that complacency in business is deadly.  We are motivated to continuously reinvent ourselves and embrace change to be the organization we aspire to be.  To that end, American Collectors is ignoring the recession (crazy, right?) and setting our sights for greater growth.

Here are some important things we’re changing at American Collectors:

  • We’ve built a new strategic plan that outlines, in detail, what our organization must do to achieve our growth goals and yours.  Every single person in our company contributed to the strategic plan and understands his or her role in implementing it.
  • We’ve designed a new communication plan for agents who see collector vehicle and collectibles insurance as a way to support and grow their customer base.  We’ll be issuing monthly updates on the “collector universe” that are brief but engaging.  We’ll include questions that agents like you ask, and resources for you to produce more business.
  • We’re installing a new policy management system, we’re re-thinking our business development tools, and putting new dollars and resources to work for partners like you.
  • We’ve invested significantly in our people and systems to make our organization ready for change, including creating a more transparent culture to improve engagement and efficiency.

Please, tell me:

What are you changing so you can create or enhance your success?

Send your thoughts to agentfeedback@americancollectors.com by February 10th, and you will be entered to win a Garmin GPS to help “direct” your change!  Everyone at American Collectors wants to support your business growth and deliver value to your collector customers.  Our goal is to be the market you turn to first, every time, for collector vehicle and collectibles risks.

Here's to an interesting and prosperous 2012 for you and your business.

Sincerely,

Jill Bookman
CEO
