Like Mr. Dylan said:  The times, they are a-changin’.  Thirty-five years ago, when American Collectors was new, the hot collector cars were Fords and Chevys from the 1950’s.  Well, Fords and Chevys are still hot, but today’s coveted models are muscle cars of the late 60’s and early 70’s and the spectacular new models rolling off factory floors.  Also hotter than ever are custom cars modified with tools & technology that were not even dreamed of back in the early 70’s.


As the collector car hobby continues to evolve, so too does the insurance product offered by American Collectors. We’ve always got an ear to the ground for hobby trends and we’ve recently updated our program to reflect the needs of collectors of not just classic era vehicles, but also of modern classics and modified vehicles.
