CHERRY HILL, NJ (June 24, 2010)—American Collectors Insurance, a provider of specialty insurance for collector vehicles and collectibles, has promoted Orlando Morales to vice president of underwriting and policy service.
Morales leads the sales, service and claims functions at American Collectors Insurance, which provides insurance products and services to collector customers, insurance agents/brokers and insurance carrier partners.
Morales’s responsibilities include working with the firm’s insurance underwriting partner; participating in product development and enhancement; and working with the underwriting management team to ensure that all quality assurance objectives related to claims, sales and service are met.
Morales, who joined American Collectors in 1988, has served in positions of increasing responsibility at the specialty insurance provider. Beginning as a claims and cancellations processor, he progressed to become underwriter, underwriting manager, and manager of carrier compliance and quality assurance. His most recent post was manager of claims and carrier compliance, to which he was promoted in 2007.
Morales, a resident of Delran, N.J., holds state insurance licenses in Florida, Virginia and New Jersey.
