New Web Series Puts Public in the Driver’s Seat: Voting Now Open for Round 2 DrivesCherry Hill, N.J. (October 23, 2012) –– The public has spoken and American Detours, (www.AmericanCollectors.com/AmericanDetours) the new web series that pairs American roads with classic collector cars, will visit Monongahela National Forest/Route 39 in West Virginia during its first season. There are a number of paved and unpaved roads along this route through “Coal Country” and the highlands, valleys, and ridges offer spectacular views. The public still has a chance to ride “shotgun” as Round 2 voting opens today with a whole new batch of roads to choose from.

American Collectors Insurance Hits the Open Road and Launches Webisode Series Cherry Hill, N.J. (October 15, 2012) –– American Collectors Insurance today announced it will pack its bags and hit the open road for American Detours, (www.AmericanCollectors.com/AmericanDetours) an exciting new web series that pairs classic American roads with classic collector cars. American Collectors has selected the first destination and is letting the public ride “shotgun” by helping to choose the other destinations and pit stops. Customers and auto enthusiasts will be given the opportunity to vote on what scenic roads American Detours should visit next as well as provide input on what “can’t miss” spots should be incorporated into the road trip. Voting opens October 15 through October 29 and every day one lucky voter will be randomly chosen to receive a $100 American Express gift card.

The 8th Annual Ride for Kids® Motorcycle Road RideAmerican Collectors Insurance continues to be a strong supporter of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation®. Team Tyler, powered by American Collectors Insurance, was the top fundraiser last year raising $28,703 for the annual Philadelphia Ride for Kids® event. We are once again promoting awareness for the cause and ask for any helping hand you may be able to give. Every penny donated directly helps children with brain tumors lead the fullest, happiest lives possible.
