Public Relations//Communications Coordinator

This is a new position within our Marketing Dept.  Selected candidate will support & promote the agency’s unique Brand by:

 

Conceptualizing, writing and distributing releases to various media

Pitching and writing by-lined articles to various media outlets

Writing website content 

Creating customer & agent communications

Supporting industry and media relations 

 

Requirements:

 

Min. 3-5 years experience in public relations and/or marketing communications

Outstanding oral & written communication skills

Excellent interviewing & fact-gathering skills

Knowledge of media landscape, including utilizing available tools

Bachelor’s Degree, pref. in public relations, communications, English or journalism 

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Strong self-starter with positive, “can-do” attitude

Knowledge of the automotive or insurance industry a definite plus
